Integrate CCTV with the infrastructure and team around it

A CCTV project combines camera coverage, network capacity, recording, access and human response. ITEXPERT can assess these dependencies and scope an integrated deployment for the site. If analytics or access-control interfaces are included, validate each workflow using the actual views and authorized users.

Review acceptance checks

When this service fits

For offices, facilities and operational sites extending CCTV, replacing recorders or integrating existing equipment with defined monitoring workflows.

What to include in the scope

Coverage and recording

Assess what each camera needs to show, lighting, retention and authorized access to recordings.

Infrastructure and interfaces

Review power, cabling, network capacity and the interfaces needed for existing equipment.

Operator handover

Define who reviews incidents, how recordings are retrieved and what happens when a device or connection fails.

What affects cost?

Camera count, image requirements, storage, installation, power backup, integrations and support affect the quote. Treat analytics as a separately assessed capability rather than a guaranteed result from any camera.

Compare the options

Compare retaining suitable cameras with selective upgrades. A new analytics feature cannot compensate for every unsuitable view, lighting problem or missing operational response.

Agree acceptance before delivery

  1. Review representative day and night images and retrieve an agreed recording.
  2. Test permissions, device reconnection and recording recovery after interruption.
  3. Measure any included analytics workflow and document false alerts, missed events and human review.

Questions before you begin

Can our existing cameras be retained?

Assess model support, authorized stream access, condition and suitability of each view before deciding.

Does every CCTV system support analytics?

No universal compatibility is assumed. Test the proposed event, camera view and interface as part of the assessment.

Can video be processed locally?

Scope the architecture and data flow. External alerts or clips may still leave the local network even when processing is local.

Can biometric access be included?

Treat it as a separate scope with permissions, data handling, alternatives and human review. Do not assume automated matches justify consequential decisions.

What should the handover include?

Request equipment inventory, camera map, retention settings, authorized access, recovery steps, training and support contacts.
